Pablo Picasso said, “The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.” That is what the creative process does for me and what I hope my art does for others who experience it. I am a local artist, from Anne Arundel County, and have displayed my work in galleries in Annapolis, Columbia, and Chincoteague, Virginia. I work mostly in watercolors and charcoal. As a retired minister most of the proceeds from my art over the years has gone to support Orphan Trusts in Zimbabwe, the Maryland Food Bank and other non-profit organizations. I agree strongly with whoever said, EARTH without ART is just “EH”.
