We’re thrilled to congratulate Nancy Murray, recipient of this year’s Annie Award for Literary Arts. Nancy leads the Arts Lab’s beloved Words on the Thirds poetry workshop, where she cultivates an inclusive, energizing space for writers of all levels.
Words on the Thirds is a program of free monthly poetry-writing workshops. Intended to establish and support a community of poets, or would-be poets, our workshops explore and fuel the lyrical art that lives within everyone.
Our first year concludes with a collaborative exhibition and publication entitled Liminal Spaces. For more information about the exhibit and the book click here.
All are welcome to attend any monthly workshop. No experience necessary! Come for one workshop or come every month. Each Words on the Thirds session includes: writing prompts, exercises, workshopping, peer review, and info about regional poetry events and opportunities. Scroll down for more on the workshops.
