I’m drawn to moments that don’t last very long. Sometimes it is a flash of lightning splitting the sky. Other times it is the first smile from a big brother holding his newborn sibling. And sometimes it is simply the way a beam of light cuts across a scene and transforms it for a moment. These moments appear, linger briefly, and then disappear.

I have never felt the need to stay within a single subject. Instead, I follow the moments that draw my attention, whether they appear in the sky, across a landscape, or in quiet human interactions unfolding in front of me. The work moves between environments and people without clear boundaries, just like those moments do.

Light is often the thread that ties it all together. It reveals emotion, texture, and atmosphere in ways that only exist for an instant. My role as a photographer is to notice those moments and preserve them before they disappear.

If my work does anything, I hope it encourages people to pause long enough to notice what is happening around them, the beauty, humor, and connection that exist in everyday moments before they slip away.
